My Easter Blessing By Tom Haworth I am grateful for Easter. As I was driving through my day yesterday, Good Friday around 2 o’clock I thought of Jesus on the cross and I felt grateful for my wonderful Way Shower. This man demonstrated through his life how I can live a divine life in the flow. Through my faith in the Christ within, I have the strength to perservere through any seeming problem. If this man Jesus withstood the crucifixion experience only to transcend the illusion of death, I can make it through my day. As I continued with these feelings, I saw the beauty of all of Christ’s’ teachings as he lead by example. He showed me through his life, that through my faith in God that all is in Divine order in my life. Simply by Letting Go and Letting God express through me all the events of my life would be in the best and highest good for me. And therefore, I trust in the Divine Spirit that I am in the right place at the right time and that Divine guidance is eternally operating in my life. I felt a sense of Joy as I connected with the Spirit of Easter; the Joy of the grandeur of the resurrection. That here through Jesus’ strength in his faith he showed me that all is possible to me as I believe. That this and greater things are possible. What a sense of wonderment and joy that the beauty of my life really is. That through allowing Christ to express though me my life flows and expands to touch many other lives. As I shine my light, more light is created. Love, pure love, washed over me as I continued to cry through the beauty of this experience. The Love for Jesus for having the courage to show me the way poured through methe love of the blessing of being able to connect with the Spirit of Easter this waythe love of myself and the many blessings of my life. And the love of the promise of the bright future I have as I allow my Spirit to express through me and my life to reach the highest grandeur that is me. I connected with the Beauty, Joy, and Love of Easter. Thank You God.
Abundant Life by Steve Ray Gratitude. I think of that word/state of being and I think of the words 'thank you'. I find that I say these words more and more to other people, and in doing so, I remind myself just how abundant my life is. There is much to be thankful for. Think of the other people who are present in your life, or who show up when you need them. They do so much to support us. Friends, co-workers, doctors, waiters, customer service reps, family, grocery baggers. I am increasingly aware of what these people do for me when I go to them for assistance or am going about my daily routine. They are present. They have shown up, and they give me their time. That's amazing. Yes, in some cases they are paid for what they do. Regardless, I am aware that they are there even before they are paid. It is an amazing reality to observe. I have had circumstances in my life that powerfully demonstrated the abundance of the universe. These came in the form of other people when I was in need and not sure where help would come from. One day I got into a car accident. No one was injured, and as I got out of my car, I had the thought that I needed a phone to call for help as I did not yet have a cell phone of my own. At the same time I had this thought, coming across the road, cell phone in hand, was a guy who was out of gas and waiting for help himself right where the accident happened. I had what I needed, simply by thinking it and being present in an abundant world. Amazing. The demonstrations continued. When his friend arrived, the two of them, without being asked, changed my damaged tire and made sure I was o.k. Also, as I waited by my car along the side of the road for a family member to arrive and follow me home, no less than five people stopped their cars to ask me if I was alright and needed help. Wow. It is an abundant world in which we live, and other people are willing to help, even complete strangers. I was filled with awe and gratitude by these amazing demonstrations of support. My mantra as I was going through this experience, which I continue to repeat to this day, was 'I'm o.k., it's o.k., all is well and the universe supports me'. Experiences such as these, which happen to me all the time, have helped me to see the truth about life. I am committed to staying focused every day on how blessed I am, and to keeping a grateful heart and mind, always. BACK TO SCHOOL by Tom Haworth I have admired a friend of mine who has recently gone back to school to continue his education. The commitment, dedication and determination he has seems honorable and the sacrifices seem great. As I have watched him persue his dreams, I have allowed my ego to show me my resistance to going back to school. There was the time, how would I balance my job, church responsibilities, and relationship commitment? How would I be able to pay for the tuition and books? What would my life look like on the other side? I have become comfortable in my world and opening up a new chapter in my life, well, is just a little scary. Yet despite, or inspite of all the “reasons” my ego put before me I am proud to say I am Going Back to School! I have opened up my heart to allow divine inspiration in to show me my path of service. I prayed to God, released my resistance and allowed Spirit to show me the way. As I opened up to the realm of pure potentiality, I recalled a long time affirmation of mine “to understand my energy and to utilize it for the service of humanity”. When I pray and meditate there is an energy within me, the presence of God that wants to be expressed. For we are all Ambassadors of God as we allow Him to work through us in our lives. With this energy within me I am headed down the path of healing service as I have enrolled in Massage Therapy School. I have found that going back to school has reignited my passion for health. Through the years I have enjoyed a healthy life style, eating well and taking good care of myself and have been blessed with good health. Now as I learn more about our bodies I am in a state of gratitude at the miracle of life. From the smallest building block, the cell, to the body working as an entire unit is easy to see power of God. Once I made the commitment to going back to school, to accept my divine inspiration, all the details fell into place. I have found that I can easily transition from my work day to my evening classes. Some of my church responsibilities have been taken over by others. An additional income stream flowed into my life cover the tuition. And I have a greater appreciation for the quality time I spend with my friend on the weekend. As I trusted in God al the details where handled. As my minister attests, he is still a student. I, too, have now reconnected with the energy of a student. As he states, a student is humble and open and receptive to allowing new thoughts and ideas to expand one’s consciousness. A student is open to expanding their being, to push the boundaries of perceived limitations, and to pursue greater goals and dreams. A student is open to the realm of pure potentiality in allowing God to guide one to their highest good. As I participate in class I appreciate and embody these attributes of the student. I acknowledge the student in all of us who desires greater goals as they open up to allow God to empress through them. Now as it is back to school time for all the children, hold them in the light of the student. Revel in their sense of awe and wonderment as they learn and experience new things. Allow them to expand their consciousness and beings as the reach out and expand their worlds. For as we all connect with our inner children we all experience the innocent enthusiasm for life. Through that enthusiasm we open up to allow God to express though us. The Flow of Prosperity and Gratitude by Tom Haworth Michelle and I had planned to attend the Millionaire Mind Intensive in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 9-11. I had experienced this highly motivational workshop exploring thoughts and feelings around money and prosperity two years ago. I was excited to participate again and to share it with Michelle. Having recently taken time off from work to participate at the South Florida Festival, I decided to travel to Ft. Lauderdale after work. Then once we got settled in our room, we could either catch the evening program or start fresh Saturday morning. Upon arriving in Ft Lauderdale, I was surprised and pleased to find Michelle had booked us a beach front room on the strip in Ft Lauderdale, we are prosperous. So we decided to, go with the flow, and enjoy the evening by walk down the strip and enjoy dinner at The Bahia Cabana restaurant over looking the marina and inter coastal waterway. The dinner was great and the sunset across the water was wonderful. Thank You God, for such beauty and peace. After a good night’s rest we arrived at the conference eager to begin. We could feel the excitement of all the people who had already spent a day in this prosperous energy and environment. We could not find our name tags on the table and went to inquire. We were told it was a three day conference. Attendance on Friday was mandatory and we would not be allowed in. Standing there dumbfounded, I knew there was a reason for this. Instead of resisting and arguing to fight our way in, we surrendered to what is, knowing that God always has a plan for us. We might have other plans that what we think is best for us, but God’s plan always wins and so do we. So we transferred our registration to the December Conference and went on our way. Feeling let down we began to reflect on what happened. We had set up an expectation yet God had other plans for us. We accepted that, this or something better, was in store for us. We allowed the flow of Life to lead us to our best and highest good. So we decided to make our own prosperity weekend in Ft Lauderdale, lifted our Spirits, and headed off to the beach. We strolled down the strip to buy some beach supplies including the $100 bill print beach towel! We are prosperous! Lunch was enjoyable sitting in an open window on the third floor over looking the beach. We discussed how prosperity is a feeling. When we feel prosperous we radiated prosperity vibes out and attract our good back to us. Prosperity can manifest in all forms from money to lunch over looking the beach to simply feeling loved. What is important is to recognize our ever present prosperity, our blessings, to acknowledge them and to give thanks. We began to appreciate every moment of the day, from the beautiful environment, the sail boats in the ocean, to the food we ate, to the one on one time together. On Michelle’s wish list is a house on the beach with a pool. She sees herself sitting by the pool, running her businesses and The Grateful Universe. Hours she has spent affirming this goal and this weekend she manifested it. Late in the afternoon we had a business meeting at the hotel, poolside overlooking the beach. As always we began our meeting with prayer and gave thanks for the beautiful scene. We imagined this to be home and it felt great. The meeting was perfect as we discussed plans and encouraged each other to reach for our highest goals. Through mutual support, working together we saw the grand potential of The Grateful Universe, and are inspired to continue the journey our mission of spreading Gratitude. So we learned that despite outward appearances our best and highest good is always manifesting through us; that God always has a greater plan for us. Our job is to get out of the way and allow God to work through us, to Let Go and Let God. As we let go and get in the flow of life with out resistance then we experience grace and our lives become abundantly blessed. |
